What happens if my Direct Debit fails?
How failed payments are handled — and what to do if one happens
🚫 If Your Payment Fails
We use GoCardless with Success+ enabled to manage Direct Debit payments. If your payment fails due to insufficient funds:

GoCardless will automatically retry the payment up to three times within a four-week period

Retries are optimally timed to increase success rates

You can also retry manually — but only three total attempts (automatic + manual) are allowed
After three failed attempts, the payment will not be retried again.
⏸ What Happens Next
If your invoice remains unpaid after all retry attempts:

We reserve the right to pause payroll processing

This includes all scheduled and ad hoc runs

You will receive a reminder if your invoice becomes overdue
