How Is the Payroll Transfer Handled Between My Old Provider and Intelligent Payroll?

Authorise the Transfer
Send us a brief email confirming you’d like to switch to Intelligent Payroll and include:
- The name of your current payroll provider
- Contact details if known
We Handle the Communication
- Our team will reach out directly to your previous provider
- We'll request all required payroll data (this is a standard process between providers)
Data Migration & Setup
- We securely import and review your payroll data
- We’ll contact you if any clarifications or additional documents are needed
- Once checks are complete, we’ll configure your payroll and agree on a go-live date

Your current provider is legally required to release your payroll data unless:
- You are in breach of contract
- There are unpaid invoices
We recommend reviewing your existing provider’s terms of service, particularly their notice period and exit clauses

Most transfers are completed within 5–10 working days, depending on how quickly we receive accurate data from your previous provider
