Yes — we support recruitment firms and PAYE umbrella-style models where the employment relationship remains with the client or umbrella company. However, we do not operate as an umbrella employer ourselves.
✅ What We Support
We provide full payroll services for:

Recruitment agencies with in-house PAYE employees 
- 
Umbrella companies that employ workers directly under a registered PAYE scheme 
- 
Contract staff employed and paid via your own entity 
In these cases, we support:
- 
Multiple weekly/monthly pay runs 
- 
Statutory deductions (PAYE, NI, pensions) 
- 
Reporting for agency clients or end hirers 
- 
Bulk onboarding and leaver management 
❌ What We Don’t Do
We do not act as a traditional umbrella company.
This means:
- 
We do not employ the worker ourselves 
- 
We do not take over contractual responsibility for the contractor 
- 
We do not pay workers through Intelligent Payroll’s own PAYE scheme 
If your model requires that the payroll provider becomes the employer of record, we would not be the right fit.
